Hi I’m Cheryl, a private independent midwife providing award-winning maternity services in Essex, Hertfordshire and beyond. I offer antenatal, birth and postnatal midwifery care.

I wholeheartedly believe every family should receive continuity of midwifery carer and see the same midwife throughout their pregnancy, birth and newborn days.

Building a caring, trusting relationship with your midwife over time just makes all the difference. Research repeatedly demonstrates that continuity of carer provides the safest maternity care and the best maternal and neonatal health outcomes.

My midwifery care is personalised, holistic and evidence-based. Ensuring you receive expert guidance, personalised support and nurturing care from a midwife you know and trust.

All antenatal and postnatal midwifery visits are in your own home with plenty of time to discuss your care in detail, prepare you for birth and empowering you to feel confident, fully informed, safe and in control.

My philosophy of care is blending the best of modern medicine and traditional midwifery skills with a huge dose of compassion and advocacy on top. You will always be at the centre of your care and I will support you every step of the way through your pregnancy, birth and newborn journey.
